Abstract
Varjenje TIG se v procesni industriji izdelkov iz nerjavečega jekla pogosto uporablja, saj omogoča izdelavo kakovostnih spojev. V praksi se za varjenje debelejše pločevine zaradi povečanja produktivnosti uporablja postopek dvostranskega varjenja TIG. Pri uporabi te tehnologije varjenja se lahko v zvaru pojavijo številne nepravilnosti, ki pa v skladu s standardi za vrednotenje zvarov niso dovoljene. Eksperimentalno varjenje smo izvedli na vzorcu, kjer smo prikazali postopek varjenja in namerno ustvarili nepravilnosti. Ob pregledu varilnih parametrov smo vrednotili zvare po standardih ob upoštevanju najstrožjega kriterija sprejemljivosti. Ugotovili smo, da imata za izdelavo zvara brez nepravilnosti največji vpliv varilca in ustrezno pripravljen zvarni rob. S pridobljenimi rezultati smo podali smernice novim varilcem za razumevanje vpliva parametrov na nastanek nesprejemljivih nepravilnosti.

Title:Technology and irregularities at double-sided TIG welding of stainless austenitic steel
Abstract:
TIG welding is widely used in the processing industry of stainless steel products, as it enables the production of quality joints. In practice, the double-sided TIG welding process is used to weld thicker sheet metal in order to increase productivity. When using this welding technique, many irregularities can occur in the weld, which are not allowed according to weld examination standards. Experimental welding was performed on a sample where we intentionally created irregularities in welding process. When examining the welding parameters, we evaluated the welds according to the standards, considering the strictest acceptance criteria. We have found that welders and properly prepared weld edge have the greatest influence on the occurrence of irregularities in the weld. Based on the results obtained, we made guidelines for new welders, to understand the influence of parameters on the formation of unacceptable irregularities.
