Abstract
V magistrskem delu raziskujem povezanost univerzitetne izobrazbe z delom sistemskih družinskih terapevtov. V teoretičnem delu predstavim socialno delo z družino in družinsko terapijo. Pišem o njunem razvoju in opredelitvi, razlikovanju in povezanosti. Nadaljujem s temo sistemske družinske terapije. Pišem o njenih začetkih in razvoju, nato pa opredelim pojem sistemske psihoterapije. Predstavim že izvedene raziskave na to temo in kritike sistemske družinske terapije. Na koncu teoretičnega dela predstavim razvoj družinske terapije in današnje stanje na tem področju. V raziskovalnem delu me zanima, katera znanja o delu z družinami so sistemski družinski terapevti predhodno že pridobili v času dodiplomskega študija in katera znanja so pridobili v času študija sistemske družinske terapije. Nekateri izmed teh konceptov so krožnost, hipotetiziranje, nevtralnost in eksternalizacija. Velika večina sistemskih družinskih terapevtov v okviru predhodnega univerzitetnega izobraževanja ni pridobila znanja za delo z družino.

Title:Connection of University Education with the Work of Systemic Family Therapists
Abstract:
In the Master’s thesis, I analyse the connection of university education with the work of systemic family therapists. In the theoretical part, I present family social work and family therapy. I write about their development and defining, differentiations and connectedness and then continue with systemic family therapy. I present its beginnings and development and then define the concept of systemic psychotherapy. I state the so far conducted researches on this topic and critics of systemic family therapy. I conclude the theoretical part with a review of family therapy through time and its current state. In the research part, I want to identify, which knowledge about working with families systemic family therapists have acquired previously, during graduate level studies, and which knowledge they acquired during the study of systemic family therapy. I focuse on what is important for systemic family therapists during the process of cooperating with families and which knowledge and competences from previous university education and systemic family therapy they use in working with families. I also want to know what connection and differentiation they see between family social work and systemic family therapy. The research shows that in their work, systemic family therapists use concepts, which we also develop in social work. Some of these concepts are: circularity, hypothesizing, neutrality and externalisation. The vast majority of systemic family therapists have not acquired knowledge for work with families during their previous university studies.
