Abstract
Umetniška dela, ki uporabljajo napredne tehnologije za vzpostavitev interakcije med gledalcem in umetniškim delom, spadajo v področje novomedijske umetnosti. Za razvoj interaktivne inštalacije, katere osrednji objekt je človek, potrebujemo tehnologijo, ki nam omogoča prepoznavanje naravnega človeškega gibanja. Namen diplomske naloge je uporabiti Kinect in s pomočjo njegovih senzorjev in tehnologij opisati postopek razvoja interaktivne inštalacije. Raziskali bomo tudi primere interaktivnih inštalacij in na praktičnem primeru demonstrirali potek razvoja interdisciplinarnega projekta. Končni rezultat diplomskega dela bo interaktivna inštalacija, katere izdelavo bomo od idejne zasnove do tehnične implementacije opisali v tej diplomski nalogi.

Title:Technological possibilities of interaction in new media art
Abstract:
Art pieces that utilize advanced technologies in order to enable interaction between the spectator and the art piece fall into the category of new-media art. In order to develop an interactive art piece, where the central object is a human we need a technology that would allow us to recognize natural human movements. The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to use Kinect's sensors and technologies in order to demonstrate the development process of an interactive installation. First, we research other examples of interactive installations and on a practical example demonstrate the development process of an interdisciplinary project. The final result of this bachelor thesis consists of an interactive new media art installation and the description of its development from idea to technical implementation.
