Abstract
Velik problem v livarstvu predstavlja strjevalna poroznost, ki se pojavi v središču samega ulitka. Simulacija v programu Magmasoft omogoča spremljanje območij, kjer je verjetnost nastanka poroznosti velika. S spreminjanjem parametrov litja v simulaciji lahko problem preučimo in minimaliziramo njegov vpliv brez dragih predhodnih litij prototipov. Pojav strjevalne poroznosti oziroma lunkerjev je moč spremljati prek rezultata 'Hot Spot'. S pomočjo simulacij je bilo ugotovljeno, kateri parametri najbolj vplivajo na nastanek lunkerjev.

Title:
Numerical simulation of aluminium solidification at die casting process
Abstract:
A major problem in foundry is shrinkage porosity that occurs inside the material. Simulation in Magmasoft allows observation of an area shrinkage porosity is likely. By changing the casting parameters in simulations we can analyse and minimize its impact without costly prototypes casting. The occurrence of shrinkage porosity can be monitored via the 'Hot Spot' results. Trough simulations it was determinited which parameters have the most influence on the formation of the porosity holes.
