Oblike pomoči in podpore partnerjem žensk, ki so preživele raka dojk

V magistrskem delu sem raziskovala obstoj in oblike pomoči in podpore partnerjem žensk, ki so preživele raka dojk. Hkrati pa sem poskušala dobiti odgovore na vprašanje, kakšna je potreba po umeščenosti socialnodelovnih pristopov in metod pri pomoči in podpori partnerjem žensk, ki so preživele raka dojk. Rak dojk je več kot samo stresen življenjski izziv, ki ima lahko hude psihosocialne posledice na življenjska področja ženske s to boleznijo. Posledice doživljajo tudi bližnji. Med njimi so velikokrat ravno partnerji. Oblike pomoči in podpore partnerjem žensk, ki so preživele raka dojk, sem želela raziskati z njihovega osebnega vidika in vidika njihovih partnerk, to je žensk, ki so prebolele raka dojk. Na ta način sem želela pridobiti uvid v življenjske zgodbe ljudi s tovrstno izkušnjo. Magistrsko delo je strukturirano tako, da sprva popelje bralca skozi teoretična izhodišča, ki dajejo okvir za nadaljevanje in izpeljavo raziskave. Podatke za raziskavo sem pridobila s pomočjo polstrukturiranih intervjujev, ki sem jih opravila z ženskami, ki so zbolele za rakom dojk, in z njihovimi partnerji. Rezultati raziskave kažejo na veliko potrebo po oblikovanju formalnih in neformalnih oblik pomoči in podpore, ki so namenjene partnerjem žensk, ki so prebolele raka dojk.

• Title: Forms of help and support for partners of women who survived breast cancer

Abstract

In my master's thesis, I researched the existence and forms of assistance and support for the partners of women survivors of breast cancer. At the same time, I tried to get answers to the need for social work approaches and methods to help and support the partners of women survivors of breast cancer. Breast cancer is more than just a stressful life challenge that can have profound psychosocial consequences on the areas of life of a woman with the disease. Consequences are also experienced by loved ones. Many of them are often partners. I wanted to explore forms of assistance and support for women breast cancer survivors from both their personal and their partners' perspectives. women who have had breast cancer. In this way, I wanted to gain insight into the life stories of people with this experience. The master's thesis is structured in such a way as to lead the reader initially through the theoretical starting points that provide the framework for the continuation and derivation of the research itself. I obtained the data for the research through semi-structured interviews conducted with women with breast cancer and their partners. The survey provides me with an insight into the need to design formal and informal forms of assistance and support aimed at partners of women with breast cancer. Not only because of the partners' need, but also because of the lack of the aforementioned forms of assistance and support.
