Abstract
V magistrskem delu je v korakih predstavljeno načrtovanje nadzorne plošče za upravljanje merilnih in regulacijskih laboratorijskih naprav. Namen nadzorne plošče je enostavna in učinkovita povezava uporabnika z napravo, zato je kot taka ena izmed bolj pomembnih delov naprave. Nadzorna plošča je preko zaporednega vmesnika povezana na glavo enoto (krmilnik), iz katere sprejema ukaze za delovanje. Integriran ima uporovni zaslon na dotik, matrično tipkovnico, režo za pomnilniško kartico in indikacijske svetleče diode. Delo je razdeljeno na štiri poglavja. V uvodnem poglavju je predstavljena osnovna definicija in namen razvoja nadzorne plošče. Drugo poglavje zajema določitev okvirnih zahtev s teoretično podlago in obstoječe komercialne rešitve s podanimi pomanjkljivostmi. Tretje poglavje govori o strojnem delu razvoja. V prvem delu poglavja so opisane specifikacije in izbira določenih komponent nadzorne plošče. Nato je po vrsti opisan postopek razvoja strojnega dela, kjer so na kratko predstavljene večje ovire med delom in orodja, uporabljena pri razvoju. Na koncu poglavja je z nizom slik predstavljen končni izdelek. Zadnji in hkrati poglavitni del bolj podrobno razkrije osnove delovanja nadzorne plošče s prikazom razvoja programske opreme. Podani so opisi bolj pomembnih algoritmov delovanja programa skupaj z blokovnimi shemami. Predstavljen je komunikacijski protokol med krmilnikom in nadzorno ploščo. Na koncu je prikazan testni prikaz na zaslonu in opravljena meritev delovanja.

Title:Control panel with serial interface
Abstract:
The presented thesis describes a design of control panel for controlling of measuring and regulating laboratory devices. The purpose of the control panel is to easily and efficiently connect the user to the machine and as such is one of the most important parts of the device. The control panel is connected via the serial interface to the central unit (PLC) from which it receives commands for operation. It has an integrated resistive touch screen, a matrix keyboard, a memory card slot and LEDs. The work is divided into four chapters. The first introductory chapter presents the basic definition and purpose of developing a control panel. The second chapter covers the defining of framework requirements with a theoretical basis and existing commercial solutions with deficiencies. The third chapter discusses hardware development. The first part of the chapter describes the specifications and selection of specific control panel hardware components. Then the process of hardware development is described. Major obstacles and the tools that were used during the development process are briefly presented. At the end of the chapter, a series of images presents the final product. The last and at the same time the main part of the thesis reveals the basic operations of the control panel in more detail by explaining the underlying software. Descriptions of more important algorithms for program operation, along with block diagrams, are given. The communication protocol between the controller and the control panel is presented. Finally, a test image is displayed on the screen and a performance measurement is performed.
