Abstract
V diplomskem delu je predstavljena analiza obdelave varistorske keramike s postopkom struženjem. Predstavljen je razlog izbire struženja kot postopka odrezavanja, predstavljeni so uporabljeni obdelovalni stroji in naprave, ter uporabljena rezalna orodja za obdelavo keramike. Na podlagi pridobljenih rezultatov so podane ključne ugotovitve in nasveti za obdelavo varistorske keramike. Med obdelavo varistorske keramike so bili spremljani in merjeni naslednji štirje kriteriji: stanje robu po obdelavi keramike, obraba rezalnega orodja, hrapavost in paralelnost obdelane površine keramike. V diplomskem delu je podana razlaga zakaj so bili omenjeni kriteriji merjeni / spremljani in kakšen vpliv imajo na delovanje varistorja. S pomočjo teh kriterijev je določena tudi dopustna obraba rezalnega orodja VBdop, do katere se le-ta lahko uporabljajo, da se še doseže zahtevana kakovost površine in robu varistorske keramike.

Analysis of varistor ceramics processing
Abstract:
The diploma thesis presents an analysis of the treatment of varistor ceramics with the turning process. In this work, reason for choosing the turning process as the machining process is presented. Furthermore, machine tools, devices and the cutting tools used for this research are also presented. Based on the obtained results and key findings, tips for the machining of varistor ceramics are given. During the machining of varistor ceramics, the following four criteria were monitored and measured: the state of the edge after the treatment of ceramics, wear of the cutting tool, the roughness and parallelism of the treated surface of ceramics. The diploma thesis explains, why these criteria were measured / monitored and what influence they have on the operation of the varistor. These criteria also determine the permissible wear of the cutting tool VBdop, to which they can be used, in order to achieve the required surface quality and the state of the edge of varistor ceramics.
