The supply chain management today is almost something that we see in every company. Companies are introducing supply chain management for various reasons, such as: reducing operating costs, better overview of a storage, increasing flexibility and customer satisfaction. It all contributes to greater competitiveness on the market. Businesses tend to be more and more competitive every day. So, we have decided to develop a model by which companies can analyse their information systems for supply chain management. We defined the key stakeholders involved in the evaluation. We have also set the criteria for assessing both existing and potential new functionalities of information systems for supply chain management. The model was then tested in the case of a major retail company in Slovenia. On the basis of the analysis of the results, we finally obtained a list of existing functionalities that need to be improved and a list of the proposed improvements.
