The thesis describes the planning of portal car wash automation process. The automation was realized with a programmable logic controller, HMI display and Siemens manufacturer's software.
In the introductory part, we introduced the S7-1200 controller and focused on programming itself in TIA Portal. In the central part, we presented the concept of sequential car wash management, including the testing of program logic and simulator usage. In the last part of the thesis we focused on graphical screen programming. We have developed a graphical interface with various carwash management animations.
