My thesis represents stands of teachers about early foreign language teaching on child language ability in his native language. The theoretical part represents development of the child's thinking and speech and also critical look contemporary authors. The theoretical part represents theories of speech development, the concept of language ability, assessments of child development and storytelling. Further I represent factors of speech development and activities to promote it. I describe language education in kindergarten and definicion of early foreign language teaching. The theoretical part includes language policy of the Council of Europe and the European Union. I also represent differences and similarities in learning (of first, second and third language) and arguments for and against early foreign language teaching. The empirical part of the thesis gives questionnaire results. Results showed that most of teachers estimated early foreign language teaching in kindergarten for sensibly and also that early foreign language teaching have stimulating effect on child language ability in his native language.
