The following work is creating a wider insight in the formation and development of two Shia rebel groups in the Middle East. In this context the work questions the media image of the Houthis (Ansar Allah) and Hezbollah inside the western cultural and political space, that was created by the media and a huge veriaty of researchers. The work presents a chronological overview of these two movements, their ideological leverage and their direct impact on the domestic and foreign politics of the countries where they are based. In this manner it chalanges the established stereotypes that are presenting these groups merely as a terorist or radical islamist organisations.
