Abstract
Osrednja tema magistrskega dela z naslovom Učenje tujih jezikov s pomočjo mobilnih aplikacij je uporaba mobilnih aplikacij pri samostojnem učenju tujih jezikov. V teoretičnem delu je predstavljena definicija mobilnega učenja, njegov razvoj, teorije učenja, ki so povezane z mobilnim učenjem, pomen medijske didaktike, značilnosti ter prednosti in slabosti tovrstnega učenja. Predstavljene so tudi mobilne ponudbe (podcasti in mobilne aplikacije), s katerimi se lahko posamezniki učijo tujega jezika. V nadaljevanju teoretičnega dela je predstavljena definicija in značilnosti avtonomnega učenja. Pomemben del magistrskega dela predstavlja pregled posameznih mobilnih aplikacij, v katerem so opredeljeni tipi nalog, jezikovne kompetence, nivo znanja, vsebine in slovnične strukture, ki jih je možno zaslediti pri posamezni mobilni aplikaciji. Empirični del temelji na ugotovitvah iz anketnega vprašalnika in intervjujev, ki smo ga opravili s študenti. Zanimal nas je predvsem njihov odnos do učenja s pomočjo mobilnih aplikacij. V zaključku so povzete ugotovitve.

Title:Foreign Language Learning with Mobile Applications
Abstract:
The main topic of the master’s thesis Foreign Language Learning with Mobile Applications is the use of mobile applications in autonomous learning of foreign languages. The theoretical part presents the definition of mobile learning, its development, learning theories related to mobile learning, the importance of media didactics, the characteristics and advantages as well the disadvantages of this kind of learning. It also presents mobile offers (podcasts and mobile applications) that can help individuals learn a foreign language. In the continuation follows the definition and characteristics of autonomous learning. An important part of the master's thesis is an overview of individual mobile applications, which defines types of tasks, language competences, level of knowledge, content and grammatical structure that can be found in each mobile application. The empirical part is based on the findings from a questionnaire and interviews with students. We were particularly interested in their attitude towards learning through mobile applications. In the conclusion we summarize the findings.
