Satisfied employees are an essential prerequisite for organizations to be successful and develop well. Providing job satisfaction is the greatest reward for an employee the company can offer. The diploma thesis presents research on the factors of employee satisfaction in a selected organization. The purpose of the diploma thesis is to enable the organization to provide employee satisfaction and to determine whether the employees are currently satisfied with the organization. The goal of the diploma thesis is to investigate the factors with the greatest impact on employee satisfaction. The theoretical part thus presents the possibilities of defining the concept of employee satisfaction, the importance of employee satisfaction for the organization, the consequences of satisfaction and dissatisfaction, and factors of satisfaction.
In the empirical part of the diploma thesis, a survey was conducted in the organization regarding satisfaction factors. The research wanted to find out which factors have the greatest impact on the employees of the organization, which ones have the smallest, how they are currently satisfied in the workplace, and what could be improved within the organization to increase satisfaction. When examining the hypotheses, we found that women ranked the relationship with the superior factor and the relationship between co-workers factor highest, while men ranked the work-family balance factor highest. To increase the satisfaction of the employees in the selected organization, according to the employees, the organization could work on the factor of familiarization with the planning, as the employees ranked it as a factor in need of improvement. The results of the research showed that, according to the employees, the most important factors are their relationship with their colleagues and their relationship with their superior. In general, the employees of the studied organization were found to be satisfied.
