Abstract
Polietilen visoke gostote je eden izmed najpogosteje uporabljenih polimerov, brez katerih si danes sveta skorajda ne moremo več predstavljati. Ponovna uporaba oziroma recikliranje polimernih izdelkov je pomembno za trajnostni razvoj, a se z recikliranjem nekatere lastnosti polimernih materialov spremenijo. V okviru zaključne naloge smo z rotacijskim reometrom preučevali vpliv večkratnega recikliranja na tokovne lastnosti polietilena visoke gostote. Izvajali smo rotacijske teste pri temperaturi 210 °C. Obravnavanih je bilo trinajst vzorcev z različno vsebnostjo surovega in ekstrudiranega polietilena visoke gostote. Ugotovili smo, da večkratno recikliranje polietilena visoke gostote vpliva na njegove tokovne lastnosti, kar gre pripisati spremembam v strukturi materiala.

Title:Influence of recycling on the flow properties of high density polyethylene
Abstract:
High-density polyethylene is one of the most commonly used polymers, without which we can hardly imagine our everyday lives. The reuse or recycling of polymer products is important for sustainable development. However, with recycling, some properties of polymeric materials change. For the purpose of this thesis, the rotational rheometer was used to study the influence of multiple recycling on the flow properties of high-density polyethylene. Rotational tests were performed at 210 °C. Thirteen samples with different percentage of raw and extruded high-density polyethylene were tested. It has been found that multiple recycling of high-density polyethylene affects its flow properties, which can be attributed to changes in material structure.
