Stavke v Sloveniji med letoma 2009 in 2018

V diplomski nalogi predstavljamo rezultate empirične raziskave stavk v Sloveniji med letoma 2009 in 2018, ki smo jo opravili z analizo novinarskih člankov v reviji Delavska enotnost. Naloga je razdeljena na dva dela. Prvi del predstavi nekatere pomembne poudarke teoretske literature o stavkah, industrijskih konfliktih in delavskemu organiziranju. V drugem delu so predstavljeni rezultati opravljenega empiričnega raziskovanja. Naše ugotovitve glede stavk na ravni posameznih podjetij kažejo na velik vpliv gospodarskih ciklov na stavkovne zahteve. V obdobju krize so delavci s stavkami zahtevali predvsem izplačilo dolgov delodajalca, v obdobju konjunkture pa povišanje plač. Ugotovili smo tudi, da v zasebnem sektorju prevladujejo stavke na ravni podjetij. Panožnih stavk je bilo v zasebnem sektorju sorazmerno malo, stavk, ki bi pokrivale celotni zasebni sektor, pa sploh ni bilo, kar kaže na prevladovanje razreševanja industrijskih konfliktov na podjetniški ravni. Podatki o javnem sektorju kažejo na ostre interesne cepitve med posameznimi sindikati znotraj le- tega.

• Title: Labour strikes in Slovenia between the years 2009 and 2018

Abstract

The undergraduate thesis presents the results of an empirical study of labour strikes in Slovenia between the years 2009 and 2018. The study was done by an analysis of articles in the journal Delavska enotnost. The undergraduate thesis is divided into two parts. The first presents some important insights of theoretical literature on strikes, industrial conflicts and labour organizing. The second part presents the findings of our empirical research. Our data of strikes on the level of particular companies indicate a large influence of economic cycles on the demands of the striking workers. In the period of economic crisis striking workers usually demanded the pay-out of debt owed to them by their employer, while in the period of economic growth the prevalent demand was that for larger wages. We also find that the majority of strikes in the private sector was organized on the level of particular companies. Industry level strikes were organized by only two trade unions and there were no strikes at all on the level of the entire private sector. Our data also indicate large splits between the interests of particular public sector unions.
