Vpliv potenciacijskih akcij na kakovost izvedbe ravnotežne naloge : magistrsko delo

Abstract
Cilja naloge sta bila dva: (1) ugotoviti, ali protokola ogrevanja z dodanimi potenciacijskimi naprezanji, ki sta bila izvedena pred ravnotežno nalogo, izboljšata kakovost njene izvedbe, in (2) ugotoviti, ali se tipa naprezanja razlikujeta v izboljšanju kakovosti RN. V raziskavo je bilo vključenih 17 prostovoljcev. Merjenci so izvajali tandemsko stojo z zaprtimi očmi na tenziometrijski plošči pred, 0,5 minut, 6 minut in 12 minut po ogrevanju, kjer smo merili hitrost in amplitudo gibanja OSRP. Ob vsakem obisku so merjenci izvedli enega izmed treh protokolov ogrevanja: (1) Protokol BREZ, ki predstavlja kontrolno meritev, kjer po izvedbi nizko intenzivnega ogrevanja pred ravnotežno nalogo ni bilo predhodnih naprezanj, ki bi izzvala post-aktivacijsko potenciacijo; (2) Protokol EKS-KON, kjer so merjenci po nizko intenzivnem ogrevanju in pred ravnotežno nalogo izvajali še največje ekscentrično – koncentrično naprezanje (kratke poskoke); (3) Protokol IZOM, kjer so merjenci po nizko intenzivnem ogrevanju in pred ravnotežno nalogo izvajali tudi izometrično naprezanje (maksimalen potisk z nogami na sankah). Vrstni red izvedbe protokolov je bil izbran naključno. Rezultati so pokazali, da ogrevanje, ki vključuje ekscentrično-koncentrično naprezanje izboljša kakovost izvedbe ravnotežne naloge, vendar potrebuje daljši čas (12 min in več) , da se izrazijo učinki postaktivacijske potenciacije. Izvedba ravnotežne naloge se neposredno (0,5 min) po ogrevanju z izometričnim naprezanjem statistično značilno poslabša. Pri ogrevanju brez naprezanja ni prišlo do statistično značilnih sprememb v kakovosti izvedbe tandemske stoje. Na podlagi tega lahko sklepamo, da je izvedba ogrevanja z ekscentrično-koncentričnim naprezanjem najbolj učinkovit način, ki vpliva na izboljšano izvedbo ravnotežja, vendar potrebuje daljšo tranzicijsko dobo (≥ 12 min).

Title:Effects of post-activation potentiation on the quality of the balance exercise
Abstract:
The purposes of this study were (1) to find out whether different types of warm-ups with additional contractions which cause post-activation potentiation (PAP) can result in improvement of a balanced task, and (2) to find out whether different types of contractions result in different improvements of balance task. In the research, we included 17 volunteers. Each had to make a tandem stance eyes-closed on a tensiometric plate before a warm-up, 30 seconds after, 6 minutes after, and 12 minutes after the warm-up. We measured the velocity and amplitude of OSRP movements. Each session, participants completed one of three different warm-up protocols: (1) without a warm-up, which did not induce PAP, (2) a warm-up with excentric-concentric contractions, and (3) a warm-up with maximal isometric contractions. The order of protocols used was set randomly. The results of our study showed that the second protocol which included excentric-concentric contractions improved the quality of tandem stance. However, the PAP effect occurred only 12 minutes after the warm-up. Using the isometric warm-up protocol, the quality of tandem stance decreased 30 seconds after the warm-up. The protocol without a warm-up did not influence the quality of the tandem stance. We concluded that warm-ups with excentric-concentric contractions were the most efficient protocol for the improvement of balance task performance but with a longer recovery period (≥ 12 min).
