Abstract
V diplomski nalogi smo raziskovali kozmetične izdelke (KI) proti prhljaju, ki smo jih našli v spletnih trgovinah, drogerijah in lekarnah. 50 naključno izbranim KI smo natančno analizirali sestavo in opredelili funkcijo vsake posamezne sestavine. Najprej smo proučili prisotnost kozmetično aktivnih sestavin (KAS), ki delujejo proti prhljaju, le-te smo razvrstili glede na njihov mehanizem delovanja. Najpogosteje uporabljena KAS je bil sintezni pirokton olamin, ki se je pojavil v 32 % vseh izdelkov, med naravnimi, pa se je najpogosteje pojavil izvleček aloe vere, ki smo ga našli v 16 % vseh pregledanih izdelkov. Osredotočili smo se tudi na površinsko aktivne snovi (PAS) ter jih razvrstili v 4 skupine (anionske, kationske, neionske, amfoterne). Pri pregledu le-teh so prevladovale neionske, ki so predstavljale 62 % vseh PAS, najmanj pogoste pa so bile kationske, predstavnice z le 10 %, kar je tudi primerno, ker veljajo za najbolj dražeče. Proučili smo tudi prisotnost sestavin, ki imajo na kožo vlažilni učinek, ter jih umestili v skupino emolientov, humektantov in okluzivov. Med humektanti je pričakovano prevladoval glicerol, ki je bil sestavina kar 48 % vseh izdelkov in s tem tudi ena izmed najpogosteje uporabljenih sestavin v našem naboru. Najpogostejši emolient je bil gliceril oleat, med okluzivi pa dimetikon. Določali smo tudi najpogosteje uporabljene konzervanse, antioksidante, zgoščevala in dišave, pri slednjih pa smo preverili ali so v izdelkih tiste, za katere je dokazano, da povzročajo neželene preobčutljive reakcije. Te dišave so v Prilogi III uredbe (ES) št. 1223/2009. Za namen mikrobiološke zaščite je bil največkrat uporabljen konzervans natrijev benzoat, predstavnik 32 % vseh izdelkov, med antioksidanti pa smo največkrat zasledili tokoferol oziroma vitamin E.

Title:A review and analysis of the composition of anti-dandruff cosmetic products
Abstract:
We thoroughly studied 50 randomly selected cosmetic products for their composition and defined the function of each individual ingredient. First we studied cosmetic active ingredients that work against dandruff, we clasified them according to their mechanism of action. The most commonly used cosmetic active ingredient was synthesized piroctone olamine, which appeared in 32 % of all products, and among the natural, the one that appeared the most was aloe vera extract, which we found in 16 % of all products reviewed. We also focused on surfactants and classified them into 4 groups (anionic, cationic, nonionic, amphoteric). Examining these substances, there was a domination of non-ionic substances, which represented 62 % of all surfactants, and the least common ones were cationic, with only 10 %, which is also appropriate because they are considered the most irritating. We also researched ingredients which have a moisturizing effect on the skin and placed them in groups of emollients, humectants and occlusives. Among the humectants, glycerol was the dominant ingredient, accounting for 48 % of all products and thus one of the most commonly used ingredient in our range. The most common emollient was glyceryl oleate, and dimethicone among the occlusives. We have also identified the most commonly used preservatives, antioxidants, thickeners and fragrances. We also checked whether the products include also those ones that have been proven to cause unwanted hypersensitivity reactions. These fragrances are located in Annex III of Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009. For the purpose of microbiological protection, the most commonly used preservative was sodium benzoate, a representative of 32 % of all products, and among the antioxidants the most commonly found was tocopherol or vitamin E.
