Abstract

Title:STUDENT MOTIVATION RESEARCH IN WORKING PART TIME
Abstract:
Because I am also a student, I was interested in the bachelor’s thesis what kind of attitude other students have regarding student work. I discussed mostly that why students perform student work and how this influences their studying success. In addition, I focused also on the financial condition of students and on the financial condition of their families to ascertain whether this influences the decision for performing student work. Then, I compared the data with the data of the Republic of Croatia. I gained the data for my research through an online survey. In addition, I compared some of the data in the thesis also with the Eurostudent VI research which was performed in 2016. Within the framework of the analysis, I ascertained that students perform student work mostly in order to acquire working experiences and competencies and because of financial incomes. I also ascertained that I cannot assert that performing student work influences the study success of an individual student. Student work does not influence students negatively. Actually, it is very popular and helps students later in their lives and in future employment.
