The master thesis follows the methodology of the service design process and it is divided into four parts:
Discover and define a problem.
In the focus is a treatment with the patient within the medical care, communication between the patient and the doctor is the main issue highlighted.
The first part of the study.
The analytical – research phase includes an overview of the
secondary sources, the nature and objectives of the medical care services. It consists of an insight into the development of health care, an overview of the current state of health care, future forecasts and factors of successful communication.
The second part of the study.
This includes quantitative and qualitative research on the basis of observing the health care institutions and by listing of stakeholders (of all involved in the process). The significance of the active role of the patient is shown; as the main element of quality communication between the patient and the healthcare provider, the element of trust
is highlighted.
Designing the solution.
The study of the second part provides a starting point for the proposal of improving the health care system. An improvement in the role of an active patient plays an important role. A successful communication guide is prepared, in which important parameters for establishing good quality contacts with the patient are collected.
