In my final paper I presented the monuments that were created during the First World War in the area of the Isonzo Front in memory of the fallen soldiers of both warring parties. First, I devoted myself to the general practice of placing monuments, whose creation was encouraged and regulated by the state. Then there are chapters where I sort the monuments according to their typological characteristics. I presented architectural objects and sculptures, however I did not include writing inscriptions. I placed a large number of monuments in order to display their mass production as much as possible. From the mentioned monuments, I then selected the ones that, in my opinion, are the most representative and aesthetically interesting. I presented the selected monuments in individual chapters, focusing on the historical aspects of art and the symbolism expressed on them.
