Abstract
V magistrskem delu raziskujem frazeološke enote v dveh enojezičnih slovarjih za tujce, angleškem Oxford Advanced Learner’s Dictionary, osma izdaja, in nemškem Langenscheidt Großwörterbuch Deutsch als Fremdsprache, izdaja iz leta 2015. Raziskava je omejena na prvih deset strani črke N v obeh slovarjih. Namen magistrskega dela je analizirati frazeme, kolokacije (vključno z deleksikalnimi strukturami), zloženke in sestavljene glagole v obeh slovarjih ter raziskati, kako so te frazeološke enote obravnavane mega-, makro- in mikrostrukturno. Povedano drugače, glavni cilj dela je raziskati, kje v slovarju lahko uporabnik najde frazeološke enote, kje v geselskem članku se nahajajo in katere dodatne informacije o frazeoloških enotah so podane. V magistrskem delu tudi primerjam oba slovarja in izpostavim določene pomanjkljivosti pri obravnavi frazeoloških enot ter ponudim predloge za izboljšave. Magistrsko delo poskuša izpostaviti pomanjkanje podrobnih raziskav frazeoloških enot v enojezičnih slovarjih za tujce, še posebej v nemških slovarjih.

Title:The Treatment of Phraseological Units in Monolingual Learner's Dictionaries
Abstract:
The master’s thesis deals with phraseological units in two monolingual learner’s dictionaries, the English Oxford Advanced Learner’s Dictionary, eight edition, and the German Langenscheidt Großwörterbuch Deutsch als Fremdsprache, 2015 edition. The research is limited to the first ten pages of the letter N in both dictionaries. The aim of the thesis is to analyse idioms, collocations (including delexical structures), compounds and phrasal verbs in the two dictionaries, and to see how these phraseological units are treated mega-, macro- and microstructurally. In other words, the main objective of the thesis is to see where in the dictionary a user can find the phraseological units, where in the dictionary entry they can be found and which additional information they are accompanied by. The thesis also makes a comparison of the two dictionaries and presents certain problems connected with the treatment of phraseological units, as well as provides suggestions for their improvement. The thesis attempts to bring attention to the lack of detailed research of phraseological units in monolingual learner’s dictionaries, especially in German dictionaries.
