Abstract
V diplomski nalogi z naslovom Ohranjanje svežine živil sem raziskoval različne tehnike in pripomočke, kako pripraviti živila ter jih obdržati čim dlje užitna za uporabnika. Raziskava je odprla problematiko živil, na katere sem se potem osredotočil. Ugotovil sem, da nekateri Evropejci čez dan zaužijejo premalo sadja. Zato bom oblikoval izdelek, ki bo uporabnike spodbudil k povečanju dnevnega vnosa sadja. Ustvaril bom alternativno rešitev za hlajenje in vzdrževanje sadja čez dan, ki bo energijsko učinkovita in preprosta. Za končno rešitev bom izbral materiale, ki so primerni za dolgotrajno uporabo ter so človeku prijazni in dostopni. Pri izdelku bom upošteval enostavno čiščenje, lahkotno odpiranje in zlaganje ter enakomerno razporejeno hlajenje, ki temelji na načelu izhlapevanja.

Title:Preserving the freshness of food
Abstract:
In my thesis, titled Preserving the freshness of food I was researching various techniques and gadgets, for preserving food and keeping them fresh longer time for the consumer. The research also made it easier for me to choose the food problems that I should focus on. I Dicscovered that some Europeans don't intake the minimum fruit intake prescipted per day. In my thesis I intend to design a product, which will encourage the user to increase the daily intake of fruit per day. I will create an alternative solution for cooling and conserving fruit, which will be energy efficient and easy to use in daily basis. For my project I will choose materials that are suitable for long usage, aren't harmful to humans and are accessible. For my project I considered easy cleaning, opening and stacking fruit, it also has evenly distributed cooling system, based on evaporation technique.
