Abstract
V diplomski nalogi bomo obravnavali problem konstrukcije pogona zgornjega koluta na stroju za elektro-uporovno kolutno varjenje. Glavni namen izdelave pogona je, da omogočimo lažje, hitrejše in boljše varjenje komor izpušnih sistemov in izboljšamo ponovljivost zvarov. Zasnovali smo gonilo, s pomočjo katerega bomo zagotavljali enake obodne hitrosti obeh varilnih elektrod. Vrtilno frekvenco zgornje in spodnje elektrode bomo spreminjali z uporabo dveh ločenih frekvenčnih regulatorjev. Modeliranje smo izvedli v programskem okolju Creo Parametric 4.0, gonilo pa smo analitično ovrednotili. Po končani konstrukciji je bil pogon zgornjega koluta tudi izdelan, trenutno pa je v fazi testnega obratovanja.

Title:Upper reel drive construction on a seam resistance welding machine
Abstract:
In my thesis I'm going to adress the problem of the construction of the upper disc drive on a seam resistance welding machine. The main goal of the drive construction is to enable easier, faster and better welding of chambers of exhaust systems and also to increase the repeatability of welds. We designed the gearbox that will be able to provide same circumferential speeds of both welding electrodes. The rotational frequency of upper and lower electrode will be varied by using two separate frequency controllers. The entire design process was performed in Creo Parametric 4.0 programming environment; the gearbox was analytically evaluated. After completed construction process the drive of upper electrode was actually manufactured and is currently in the test operation phase.
