Abstract
Ta mnenja so podali poslanke in poslanci, ki so oz. še vedno sestavljajo preiskovalno komisijo. Za konec sem pogledala še, kakšni so bili učinki vzpostavljenih preiskovalnih komisij na zdravstvenem področju.

Title:The role of National Assembly’s commissions of inquiry in the fight against corruption: the case of the healthcare system
Abstract:
Corruption has been pervasive in Slovenia ever since the independence of the country and it is especially hurting in the healthcare system since it is a very comprehensive concept much like the public administration, which is allocated the largest share of the public budget. At the same time, the media is constantly reporting the anomalies that are happening in the healthcare system and the responses of health organizations that there is not enough money in this field. The deputies, who have been trusted by the voters of the Republic of Slovenia to try to regulate the health care system and prevent such anomalies, face these problems on a daily basis. That is why I focused on the commissions of inquiry of the National Assembly and made an overview of all the commission of inquiry established since the founding of the Republic of Slovenia. I further examined how many commissions of inquiry had been set up because of healthcare anomalies and how the deputies had gone about investigating the matter. Since the final reports have not yet been made public, I focused on the opinions of the deputy groups. These views are presented deputies who were or still are members of a commission of inquiry. Finally, I looked at the effects of the established committees of inquiry on health.
