Abstract
Diplomsko delo obravnava osnovne brezžične prenose podatkov in uporabo le teh v razvojnem okolju Arduino. Na začetku so predstavljena računalniška omrežja, ki so razdeljena v dve večji skupini, in sicer omrežje vsak z vsakim in strežniška omrežja. Nato se osredotočimo na brezžična omrežja in brezžične tehnologije, med katerimi bomo predstavili najbolj osnovne ali najpogosteje uporabljene, to so Bluetooth, Wi-Fi in NFC. Nadaljujemo z Internetom stvari, za katerega lahko rečemo, da je to omrežje povezanih naprav, ki preko storitev tega omrežja zbirajo, obdelujejo, in si med seboj izmenjujejo podatke. Število naprav Interneta stvari v zadnjih letih strmo narašča in se uporablja v najrazličnejših področjih, med katerimi je tudi šolstvo. Sledi predstavitev odprto elektronsko razvojnega okolja Arduino, ki ga sestavljata krmilnik in programska oprema Arduino IDE. Za konec je predstavljen še kratek pregled šolskih projektov.

Title:Basic wireless data transfers and their use in the Arduino development environment
Abstract:
The thesis presents basic wireless data transfers and their use in the Arduino development environment. Firstly, we will desrcibe computer network topology types, focusing on mesh and client-server, which are the most widely used network topologies. In the next section, the thesis describes bothwired and wireless network access technologies and their most often implemented protocols. We will combine facts from the first two sections to present basic Internet of Things concepts. Number of connected devices is increasing each year after year,therefore the number of use-cases for IoT is rising in different areas. In the practical part of thesis,we will present Arduino IDE and its main components, as well as few IoT use-cases in education.
