BA thesis titled Conservation-restoration of three detached fragments of a wall painting from the church on Bled island defines conservation and restoration procedures that I, with help from my co-mentor, conducted on three detached fragments of wall painting. While writing the thesis I combined theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part includes described and explained procedure of applying decorative plaster, its purpose and parameters that affect his appearance. I conducted the practical part at the Institute for the protection of Cultural Heritage of Slovenia, Restoration centre, at the department of wall paintings in Ljubljana. It includes the procedures I conducted on three detached fragments from the church of the Assumption of Maria on Bled island.
