Projection mapping on uneven surfaces, also known as video mapping or projection, is a fairly old technique that has been flourishing over the last few years due to the availability of hardware.
It is a projection of video content onto an object with the aim of immersion of the viewer. Sound and interactivity are also important for the viewer’s overall experience.
In the first half of the diploma thesis the history of the technique and its theoretical background are presented. The second half is focused on the necessary equipment and procedures for the execution of the projection mapping project which was developed for this thesis. The aim was to create an installation with all three components - video, sound and interactivity.
