Abstract
V zaključnem delu so predstavljeni rezultati samega sistema in možnosti nadgraditev.

Title:Development of automated telescope control system
Abstract:
The diploma thesis initially presents the basics of photography, astrophotography and the equipment that is necessary for this. Furthermore, we focus on the autoguiding principle that enables astrophotography. In the central part of the thesis the Arduino Nano microcontroller realizes the autoguiding system on the equatorial mount of the telescope. Individual hardware and software components are presented that enable the system to function properly. The telescope can move manually with a remote or automatically with the help of a computer and PHD2 guiding program. The automatic movement is working with the help of a guide camera and stepper motors that move the telescope. Manual mode allows the telescope to be moved at a higher speed, with no vibrations present unlike with physical movements of the telescope. The final section presents the results of the system itself and the possibilities for upgrades.
