Abstract
Motivacija zaposlenih v organizaciji je zelo pomembna, saj so motivirani zaposleni tisti, ki pozitivno vplivajo na organizacijo, saj dosegajo boljše rezultate in tako pripomorejo k uspehu in rasti le-te. Zato je skrb za zaposlene nujna, če želijo biti organizacije na dolgi rok uspešne. V diplomskem delu smo se osredotočili na proučevanje motiviranosti zaposlenih na upravnih enotah v jugovzhodnem delu Slovenije (Upravna enota Črnomelj, Upravna enota Metlika, Upravna enota Novo mesto). V ta namen smo izvedli raziskavo, s katero smo proučili dejansko stanje motiviranosti zaposlenih na omenjenih upravnih enotah. Raziskava je bila izvedena s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika, ki je bil anonimen, sestavljen pa je bil iz 10 vprašanj zaprtega tipa. Na podlagi rezultatov je bilo ugotovljeno, da je motivacija na upravnih enotah v jugovzhodnem delu Slovenije v povprečju dobra in da so zaposleni v povprečju zadovoljni z načinom motiviranja, ki ga uporablja neposredni vodja. Vodje na upravnih enotah uporabljajo različne načine motiviranja. Rezultati raziskave so pokazali, da so zaposleni najbolj motivirani, ko občutijo, da jim vodja zaupa. Med najpomembnejše motivacijske dejavnike so zaposleni uvrstili dobre odnose z neposrednim vodjo, dobre odnose s sodelavci, vzdušje v organizaciji, možnost napredovanja v višji plačni razred in možnost napredovanja v višji naziv, kot najmanj pomemben motivacijski dejavniki pa so ocenili javno priznanje za dobro opravljeno delo neposredno s strani vodstva upravne enote. Z raziskavo, ki je bila izvedena, lahko upravne enote v jugovzhodnem delu Slovenije vidijo, kakšno je dejansko stanje na področju motivacije zaposlenih in kaj bi lahko še izboljšale. Vodje na posameznih upravnih enotah pa lahko ugotovijo, kako zadovoljni so zaposleni z njihovim načinom motiviranja in kateri motivacijski dejavniki so zanje najbolj pomembni in kateri manj. S tem bodo lahko vodje še izboljšali svoje delo in tako pripomogli k večji motiviranosti zaposlenih.

Title:ANALYSIS OF THE EMPLOYEE MOTIVATION AT ADMINISTRATIVE UNITS
Abstract:
Employee motivation in an organisation is extremely important for any facility as employees who are motivated positively affect the organisation as a whole, they achieve better results and therefore aid the success of the organisation and its growth. If an organisation wishes to be successful in the long term, it has to care for its employees. The thesis focuses on the employee motivation in the administrative units in the Southeast part of Slovenia and it includes Administrative Unit Črnomelj, Administrative Unit Metlika and Administrative Unit Novo mesto. A research studying the actual level of motivation of the employees in these units was conducted. The research was formed as an anonymous questionnaire consisting of 10 closed type questions. The level of motivation in the administrative units, based on the results of the research, is in average good and it also shows that the employees are in general satisfied with the ways of motivation received from the managers. Managers in the administrative units use different methods of motivation, however the research showed that the employees are motivated the most when they feel that their manager trusts them. Employees have classified good relationships with their direct manager, co-workers, relaxed work atmosphere, the possibilities of promotion to the grades and to the titles as the most important, however public recognition for their job well done from the administrative unit management as the least important. The research shows the actual situation in the field of employees’ motivation in the units and possible improvements. Administrative units’ managers can establish the level of satisfaction of their employees and determine which motivational factors are the most and the least important. The results could help improve the managers’ jobs and therefore help them motivate their employees even more.
