Abstract
Nerjavna jekla se pogosto uporabljajo v farmacevtski, kemijski in jedrski industriji, kjer veljajo zelo visoke zahteve in standardi glede kakovosti izdelka ter tudi zvarov. Zaradi zahtevane visoke kakovosti zvarov, kratkih izdelovalnih časov in ponovljivosti rezultatov se procesi varjenja pogosto izvajajo avtomatizirano ali robotizirano. Teoretičen del naloge obširno obravnava področje obločnega varjenja, s poudarkom na postopkoma TIG in MIG varjenja. Raziskovalni del pa obravnava vplivne parametre pri varjenju debelostenskih cevi iz nerjavnega jekla. V okviru eksperimenta smo z uporabo robota izvajali avtomatska varjenja korenskih in temenskih varkov na debelostenskih ceveh. S spreminjanjem parametrov varjenja smo se postopoma približevali kakovostnim zvarom. Ugotovili smo, da lahko s primerno določenimi parametri dobimo kakovostne zvare ter postopek varjenja popolnoma avtomatiziramo.

Title:Automatic TIG and MIG welding of stainless thick-walled pipes
Abstract:
Stainless steels are widely used in pharmaceutical, chemical and nuclear industry, where very high product quality requirements and standards apply. Due to the required high quality of welds, short production times and repeatability of the results, welding processes are carried out automatically. Theoretical part of the thesis deals extensively with the field of arc welding, with an emphasis on TIG and MIG welding processes. The research part examines influencing parameters in welding thick-walled stainless pipes. As part of the experiment, automated welding of root and filler welds was performed. Experiment was conducted on thick-walled pipes using a robot. By changing the welding parameters, we gradually approached quality welds. We have found that with properly defined parameters we can obtain quality welds and fully automate the welding process.
