The adhesive properties of the adhesive tape can be determined by standardized adhesive tests. In this thesis, we present the energy and stress analysis of the peeling tape and the numerical simulation of the 90° peeling test developed at the Laboratory for Nonlinear Mechanics at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. In the program, the adhesion that works between the surfaces can be modeled by several contact models. We can choose between contact models with exponential function, bilinear, half-sine and trapezoidal function. The result of the average force obtained from the experiment was best described when using the contact model with an exponential function.
