Abstract
Zaključna naloga opisuje analizo in predvidevanje napak pri postopku visokotlačnega litja s hladno komoro z uporabo simulacij litja. Najprej so predstavljene teoretične osnove visokotlačnega litja: potek procesa in potrebna oprema. Sledi predstavitev najpogostejših livarskih napak, katere lahko napovemo s simulacijo litja. V drugem delu naloge je opredeljen postopek priprave 3D modela ulitka, potrebnega za simulacijo in postopek priprave simulacije. Nato so na podlagi simulacije utemeljeni vzroki za nastanek livarske napake na ulitku in potencialne druge livarske napake, ki bi pri postopku lahko nastale. V zadnjem delu so navedene tudi možnosti za reševanje napak.

Title:Use of high pressure die casting simulations for analyzing casting defects
Abstract:
The thesis describes the analysis and prediction in the process of cold chamber high pressure die casting with the use of a casting simulation. In the first part of the thesis the theoretical fundamentals of high pressure die casting are presented: the process and the necessary equipment. This is followed by the presentation of the most common defects that can be predicted by the use of casting simulations. The second part describes the procedure of preparing the 3D model of the casting followed by the process of creating the casting simulation. The last part describes the original defect on the castings, probable causes based on the simulation and the possibility of other common defects on the part with the addition of options for solving them.
