3D printing is often used for home use, where it is difficult to ensure the same conditions at all times. That is why understanding external influences in relation to process parameters is crucial for making a quality product. Presented in this thesis is the effect of filament flow rate on the quality of the product using fused deposition modeling. We researched the samples, printed at various filament flow rates while other paramaters and external influences are constant. We also researched the influence of various flow rates on the dimensions of the samples and found that it is necessary to calibrate the process before the new filament. By increasing or decreasing the flow rate, the thickness of the walls increases and decreases proportionally. The outside dimensions are larger than the thickness of the walls, so the impact is smaller, but still present.
