Abstract

Title:
Design and analysis of the milling technology for welded parts by using 3D touch trigger probes
Abstract:
In the milling process of welded parts we are challenged with many obstacles. While welding parts together we're heating our workpiece and therefore increasing it's deformation which negatively affects on the final shape. Because of that we're forced to measure every single piece and that is a very time consuming process in production cycle, especially if we do it by hand. To speed up the whole process we can automate it by using different tools. In this thesis we designed clamping device which will provide us good positional stability and will help us with our problem. With our solution we will shorten the whole process of measuring, centering and will automate it with the help of 3D touch trigger probes which we have installed on our machines. That way we can produce our products of good quality and without wasting valuable time.
