Abstract
Najprej opišem, kaj so avtonomni prostori, namenske skupnosti in skupnosti v uporu.

Title:Community Cooking in Autonomous Spaces
Abstract:
In my master thesis I am researching community cooking in autonomous spaces. In theoretical introduction I present three key concepts whom which my research stems from. First I describe what are autonomous spaces and communities in resistance. Through that I shortly describe the history of squatting empty spaces and show the different levels of resistance to neoliberal system that are an integral part of autonomous spaces. Most important levels are refusing (the concept of) private property, non-profit activities and building the community that enables common struggle. With this I introduce the topic of autonomy that I am developing through the whole thesis. Then I define the concept of radical social work and show that it is not a forgotten idea of the revolutionary past but the kind of social work which can actually take part in social change. I also show how the contemporary models social work such as critical social work, direct social work and self-organized social work that all base on autonomy, follow the tradition of radical social work. I understand community cooking as a part of self-organized social work and as an example of the commons which is the third concept I ground my work on. I present the commons as collectivization of fulfilling the needs and as a process that builds communities in resistance as a base of autonomous spaces. Through the analysis of the commons I show how reproductive work is the field that has to be politicized as its collectivization enables radical transformation of everyday life and the establishing of the community which transgresses oppression based on race, class, gender and abilities. The aim of my research is twofold. Firstly I want to present ways how autonomous communities understand community kitchens, at the same time I want to politicize the collectivization of reproductive work. Basing on the results I show that collectivization of reproductive work, although often poorly politicized, is a part of all autonomous communities I was researching. And even if it is not politicized it is a political act as it enables radicalizing every day life and fulfilling needs of people outside of the frames of capitalist relationships.
