Abstract
Gume, razni polimeri in kompoziti izkazujejo nelinearno-elastične (hiperelastične) lastnosti. Določitev njihovih snovnih lastnosti za potrebe računske obravnave snovi je običajno izvedeno iz enoosnih testov, ki podajajo enoosni odziv materiala v nategu. Pomembno vlogo na razporeditev splošnega napetostnega stanja pa ima tudi odziv snovi v tlaku, ki pa običajno niti ni merjen zaradi kompleksnejše izvedbe tlačnih testov. V okviru magistrskega dela je predlagan alternativni način določitve elastičnosti snovi v tlaku na podlagi upogibnega preizkusa. Predlagan postopek je konceptualno in računsko ustrezno prikazan in obrazložen. Izdelano je bilo namensko preizkuševališče za izvajanje upogibnih preizkusov. S pomočjo izdelanega programa so na podlagi izvedenih meritev z inverzno identifikacijo bile določene lastnosti različnih hiperelastičnih konstitutivnih modelov tako v nategu kot v tlaku.

Title:Characterization of non-linear elastic materials by using bending tests
Abstract:
Rubbers, various polymers and composites exhibit nonlinear-elastic (hyperelastic) properties. The determination of their material properties for the purpose of computational treatment of a substance is usually derived from uniaxial tests that provide a uniaxial response of a material in tension. An important role in the distribution of the general stress state is also played by the material response in compression, which is usually not measured due to complexity of compression tests. In the course of the master's thesis, an alternative method of determining the elasticity of material in compression based on bending tests is proposed. The proposed process is presented conceptually and computationally. An experimental setup for a bending test has been designed. With the developed program, the properties of different hyperelastic constitutive models, both in tension and compression, were determined with inverse identification on the basis of the measurements performed.
