In my master's thesis, we designed an automated line station for assembly of gas and air safety valves, installed in heating units. The function of an automated line station is to insert a stepper motor into the valve body. In the introduction, we described the topic, the main purpose and purpose of the station, then we presented the theoretical background needed to understand and know the operation of the station. In the methodology, we initially described and listed the input parameters, rules and constraints to be considered in the design. This was followed by a more detailed description and outline of the design of the station by individual work segments. For easier understanding of the operation of each station set, we have presented all the components and drive assemblies with image material. After designing the station, it was necessary to recalculate the times of all work movements and operations of the station. Based on these, calculated end time of the station's working cycle should not be greater than the predetermined value. The result of the design is summarised in the description and display of the automated line station, and summarizes all the solutions considered in the design, as well as the station operation solutions which contribute to reduce station operating time.
