Abstract

Title:
Social Status of Young People in Slovenia
Abstract:
The future of the world is in the hands of young people is something we often hear today. This makes us think that young people are valued in our society. However a more thorough examination might show us that this is not the case. Society is expecting young people to be active participants but on the other hand does not enable them to become active. The first job is an important milestone which helps young people to become independent. Most young people in Slovenia today can not find a safe employment. They are very educated but their knowledge is not being used in the market. Consequently young people are moving out of the country and the ones who are staying are not satisfied with their life.
