Slovenian student clubs want to enrich and ensure quality leisure time for students across different regions of Slovenia. The GROŠ Student Club identified poor performance of operational processes, which was also the reason for the creation of the Kurnik online system for student club administration. This diploma thesis aims to determine what functionality the system for student administration should contain in order to be truly useful based on the theory of user experience and needs analysis for the design of mentioned online system. For the purpose of this research, I conducted needs assessment analysis within three focus groups at different student clubs. Findings revealed that the work processes in student clubs are structured and therefore suitable for implementation in the online system. Currently the system does not cover all work processes and only partially reflects the existing ones becoming useful only when other tools are used simultaneously, especially in the finance area. The findings will help us bring the system closer to reflecting user’s needs and requirements more accurately so the system will better address the user’s wants and needs.
