Naslov diplomskega dela je Imena nemških in avstrijskih dežel ter njihove slovenske ustreznice. Avstrija je naša sosednja država in imamo skupno zgodovino, zato najdemo več ustreznic za avstrijske dežele kot pa za nemške dežele. Cilj diplomskega dela je, prikaz aktualnih slovenskih ustreznic za avstrijske in nemške dežele nekoč in danes. Diplomsko delo je sestavljeno iz teoretičnega in empiričnega dela. V teoretičnem delu so predstavljene različne definicije, npr. jezikovnega stika, lastnega imena, toponima, ustreznic itd. V empiričnem delu so tabelarno predstavljeni rezultati slovenskih ustreznic za nemška in avstrijska imena zveznih dežel.

• Title: Names for German and Austrian States and their Slovene Equivalences

Abstract

The title of the diploma work is The Names of the German and Austrian countries and their Slovene equivalents. Since Austria is our neighbor country and we have a common history, we find more equivalents for Austrian lands than for German lands. The aim of the diploma work is to present the current Slovene equivalents for the Austrian and German lands once and today. The diploma work consists of theoretical and empirical work. In the theoretical part, various definitions are presented, for example, language contacts, own names, toponyms, equivalents, etc. In the empirical part, the results of Slovenian equivalents are tabulated.
