Abstract
Iskanje kraških jam je pretežno terensko delo. Zaradi želje po efektivnejšem iskanju novih jam smo uporabili LiDARski digitalni model podatkov in na njem preizkusili tri geoinformacijske metode: topografski pozicijski indeks, lokalni model reliefa in faktor vidnega neba. Izbrali smo pet jam; Čehi 2, Najdena jama, Habečkov brezen, Kačna jama in Lipiška jama, ki se razlikujejo glede nastanek, lokacijo in morfometrične značilnosti. Uspešnost metod smo primerjali glede na vizualno zaznavo jamskega vhoda, pridobljene lokacije in Katastra jam ter primerjavo izračunane površine poligona jamskega vhoda in ocenjene površine.

Title:Comparison of geoinformation methods for detection of cave entrances based on LiDAR delivered data
Abstract:
Discovery of karst caves is mostly requires fieldwork. We wanted to find a more effective way of cave discovery. That is why we used LiDAR delivered digital elevation model and tested three spatial methods: topographical position index, local relief model and sky view factor. We choose five caves: Čehi 2, Najdena jama, Habečkov brezen, Kačna jama in Lipiška jama, which differ in location and morphometric features. Success of the methods was determined by comparing results visually, according to the location of Cadastre of caves and comparison between calculated area and estimated area of cave entrance.
