Abstract
Želeli smo ugotoviti, katere plesne dejavnosti so v vrtcih zastopane največ ter kolikšno pomembnost vzgojiteljice pripisujejo načrtovanju in izvajanju plesnih dejavnosti. V urbanem okolju smo si izbrali dva ljubljanska vrtca, in sicer Vrtec Franceta Prešerna in Vrtec Šentvid. V ruralnem okolju pa smo si izbrali tri vrtce – Vrtec Mehurčki, Vrtec Murenčki in Marijin Vrtec. V raziskavi je sodelovalo 99 vzgojiteljic in vzgojiteljev. Udeleženci so v anketnem vprašalniku odgovarjali na odprta in zaprta vprašanja o plesnih dejavnostih v vrtcu. Za obdelavo podatkov smo uporabili Microsoft Word in Microsoft Excel. Pridobljene podatke smo ponazorili s pomočjo tabel in grafov.

Title:Differences in planning dance activities between urban and rural areas
Abstract:
The main purpose of the diploma thesis was to research the differences in planning dance activities in kindergartens between urban and rural areas. We focused on possible differences in the frequency of planned dance activities. We wanted to discover, which dance activities are used the most and how much importance educators give to planning and executing of dance activities. The diploma thesis is divided into two parts – theoretical and empirical part. In the theoretical part we focused on dance as an activity in kindergarten. We presented dance as part of our national Curriculum for kindergartens. There is also described the role of the educators in planning and executing dance activities. We defined the types of the dance activities that are used in kindergartens and we described all methods and forms of work that we use for these types of activities. In the empirical part we presented the results of our research. The data was obtained through a questionnaries. We did our research in different kindergartens. In urban area we chose two kindergartens from Ljubljana – Vrtec Franceta Prešena and Vrtec Šentvid. In rural area we chose three kindergartens – Vrtec Mehurčki, Vrtec Murenčki and Marijin Vrtec. In our survey has participated 99 preschool teachers. For data processing we used Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. The data is displayed in tables and graphs. The final results showed that between urban and rural kindergartens there are no statistically significant differences in the frequency of planning dance activities. There were only shown some small differences. Most preschool teachers in urban kindergartens are planning dance activities, meanwhile preschool teachers from rural kindergartens are using dance as spontaneous activity.
