Abstract
Magistrsko delo predstavlja organizacijo in izvedbo programa izbirnih športov pri tretji uri športne vzgoje na BIC Ljubljana, Gimnazija in veterinarska šola. Cilji magistrskega dela so bili raziskati športno dejavnost dijakov in dijakinj drugih ter tretjih letnikov tehniške gimnazije, njihove razloge za ukvarjanje z različnimi športnimi dejavnostmi in pridobiti njihova mnenja o tretji uri športne vzgoje ter njeni izvedbi v okviru programa izbirnih športov. Za izdelavo magistrskega dela smo uporabili spletni anketni vprašalnik, ki je vseboval dvaindvajset vprašanj zaprtega in polodprtega tipa. Izračunali smo osnovne statistične kazalnike, za prikaz razlik v mnenjih med spoloma oziroma med bolj in manj športno dejavnimi dijaki in dijakinjami pa smo uporabili hi-kvadrat test in t-test za neodvisne vzorce. Hipoteze smo sprejemali oziroma zavračali na 5 % stopnji tveganja. Z intervjujem športnega pedagoga smo poglobili razumevanje organizacije tega dela obveznega programa. Raziskava je pokazala, da je večina dijakov in dijakinj zadovoljnih s ponudbo športnih dejavnosti pri tretji uri športne vzgoje in z načinom njihove izvedbe, kar 73,9 % dijakinj in 61,8 % dijakov za tretjo uro športne vzgoje izbere nadstandardno oziroma plačljivo športno dejavnost. Dijaki in dijakinje si za tretjo uro športne vzgoje raje izbirajo večdnevne športne dejavnosti, kot dejavnosti, ki se izvajajo skozi celotno ocenjevalno obdobje. Delež dijakov, ki si raje izbirajo večdnevne športne dejavnosti, je 60,0 %, delež dijakinj pa je 78,3 %. Predlagali smo tudi dodatne športne dejavnosti, ki lahko še popestrijo ponudbo izbirnih športov pri tretji uri športne vzgoje. Z magistrskim delom želimo spodbuditi tudi druge srednje šole, da bi tudi same organizirale pouk športne vzgoje na podoben način, kot ga izvajajo na BIC Ljubljana, Gimnazija in veterinarska šola.

Title:Pupils' opinion about the third teaching hour of physical education and its execution at Biotechnical educational centre Ljubljana, General upper secondary school and veterinary technical school
Abstract:
This master thesis describes the organisation and execution of the elective sports programme for the third teaching hour of physical education (PE) at Biotechnical Educational Centre Ljubljana, General Upper Secondary School and Veterinary Technical School. The aim of the master thesis was to carry out the research on sports activities of pupils attending second and third grade of secondary school, their reasons for undertaking different sports activities, and gather their opinion on the third teaching hour of PE and its execution. In order to write the master thesis we have developed an online questionnaire consisting of the combination of 22 closed-ended and half-open questions. Basic statistical indicators were calculated, and chi-squared test and t-test for independent samples were used to represent the differences between gender and more or less active pupils. Hypotheses were accepted or rejected at the 5 % significance level. By conducting the interview with one of the PE teacher we have additionally deepened our understanding of how the mandatory sports programme is organised. The results have shown that the majority of pupils were satisfied with the offer of sports activities available for the third teaching hour and its way of execution. As much as 73.9 % of female pupils and 61.8 % of male pupils choose sports activities that are payable and above standard. For the third teaching hour of PE pupils prefer to choose sports activities lasting several days to sports activities extending over the whole evaluation period. In total 60.0 % of male pupils choose sports activities lasting several days whereas the share of female pupils comprises 78.3 %. Furthermore, we have proposed additional sports activities that could improve the offer even more. With this master thesis we wish to encourage other secondary schools to start organising PE in the same way as this is done at Biotechnical Educational Centre Ljubljana, General Upper Secondary School and Veterinary Technical School.
