Abstract
Uvod: Za nastanek sindroma motnje pozornosti s hiperaktivnostjo je pogosto vzrok genetika, pomemben pa je tudi vnos določene hrane (sladkorji, barvila), ki poveča hiperaktivnost. Najpogostejše težave so: motnja pozornosti, impulzivnost in hiperaktivnost. Kognitivno-vedenjska terapija je oblika psihoterapije, ki izhaja iz predpostavke, da misli vplivajo na naša čustva, vedenje in na telesne odzive. Mladostnik se s pomočjo kognitivno-vedenjske terapije nauči boljše kontrole lastnega vedenja, kar pripomore k boljšemu funkcioniranju v šoli in tudi pri vsakodnevnih odnosih. Zdrava in uravnovešena prehrana je pomemben dejavnik za zmanjševanje simptomov motnje pozornosti s hiperaktivnostjo. Namen: Namen diplomskega dela je raziskati oblike nefarmakološkega pristopa pri obravnavi mladostnika z motnjami pozornosti s hiperaktivnostjo in oceniti njihov vpliv na mladostnika in njegovo družino. Metode dela: Uporabljena je bila deskriptivna metoda dela. Narejen je pregled slovenske in tuje literature. Izvedena je bila tudi študija primera. Ugotavljali smo vpliv spremenjene prehrane na vedenje 14-letnega mladostnika z motnjami pozornosti s hiperaktivnostjo. Uporabili smo Feingoldovo dieto, v kateri so izločeni kazein, gluten, sladkor in živila, ki vsebujejo aditive, ter salicilati. Dieta je bila izvajana v dveh korakih. V prvem se je omejilo živila z majhno vsebnostjo salicilatov, v drugem pa se je postopno dodajalo tudi živila z višjo vsebnostjo salicilatov. Rezultati: Z zmanjšano uporabo sladkorja, umetnih barvil in konzervansov – brez glutena in kazeina – se je mladostnik počutil bolje. S pomočjo tehnike kognitivno-vedenjske terapije je lažje reševal probleme. Rezultati diete in kognitivno-vedenjske terapije so pokazali vedenjske spremembe mladostnika z motnjami pozornosti s hiperaktivnostjo. Vpliv diete in kognitivno-vedenjske terapije se je pokazal na izboljšanem vedenju mladoletnika, zmanjšani hiperaktivnosti in impulzivnosti. Razprava in sklep: V naši študiji primera se je pokazalo, da je zelo pomembno najprej naučiti starše, da mladostniku z motnjami pozornosti s hiperaktivnostjo zagotavljajo lajšanje simptomov s pomočjo oblikovane strategije vedenja. Veliko avtorjev je prepričanih, da je vpliv prehrane zanemarljiv, drugi imajo specifično mnenje o posameznih snoveh v živilih, ki lahko zaostrijo potek motenj pozornosti s hiperaktivnostjo oziroma snoveh, ki simptome blažijo. Ob upoštevanje stroge diete se morajo starši in mladostnik z motnjami pozornosti s hiperaktivnostjo zavedati, da je to proces spreminjanja, ki potrebuje veliko časa. Medicinska sestra in drugi zdravstveni delavci morajo v tem procesu nefarmakološke obravnave nuditi podporo in potrebno zdravstvenovzgojno izobraževanje.

Title:Non-pharmalogical approaches in adressing youth with ADHD syndrom - case study : diploma work
Abstract:
Introduction: The formation of Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder syndrome is often the cause of genetics, and it is also important to introduce certain foods (sugars, dyes) which increase hyperactivity. The most common problems are disturbance of attention, impulsivity and hyperactivity. Cognitive behavioral therapy is a form of psychotherapy that arises from the assumption that thoughts affect our emotions, behavior, and physical responses. With the help of Cognitive behavioral therapy, the adolescent learns better control of his / her own behavior, which contributes to better functioning in school and everyday relationships. A healthy and balanced diet is an important factor to reduce symptoms Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Purpose: The purpose of the diploma work is to investigate the forms of a non-pharmacological approach in treating adolescents with Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and assessing the impact of these on the adolescent and his family. Methods: We used a descriptive method of work. An overview of Slovene and foreign literature is made. The case study was also made. The purpose was to investigate the effect of a diet to a 14-year-old adolescent with Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. We used Feingold's diet in which excreted casein, gluten, sugar and foods containing additives, and salicylates, was selected. The diet was carried out in two steps. First step was to reduce foods with a low content of salicylates were restricted. In the second step foods with a higher content of salicylates were added step by step. Results: With the reduced use of white sugar, artificial colours and preservatives, wheat flour and dairy products, the adolescent with Cognitive behavioral therapy felt better. With the help of Cognitive behavioral therapy, it was easier for him to solve problems. The results of the diet and Cognitive behavioral therapy showed behavioral changes in adolescents with Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. The effect of the diet and Cognitive behavioral therapy showed improved behavior of adolescent, reduced hyperactivity and impulses. Discussion and conclusion: The study showed that it is very important to teach parents how to help adolescents with Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder to ensure relieve symptoms of Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder through a developed behavioral strategy. Many authors are convinced that the effect of nutrition is negligible, others have specific theses about individual substances in foods that can aggravate the course of Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, or substances that relieve symptoms. Regarding the strict diet, parents and adolescents with Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder should be aware that it is a long term process. Therefore, a nurse and other health professionals should offer support and health education in the process of non-pharmacological treatment.
