Abstract
V diplomskem delu so predstavljena področja in primeri uporabe projekcijskega mapiranja ter vsa potrebna strojna in programska oprema za izdelavo lastnih mapiranih projekcij. V delu smo se osredotočili na projiciranja vsebine na objekte 3D oblik in s pomočjo VPT 8 orodja za projekcijsko mapiranje izdelali projekciji na dve arhitekturni maketi. V delu je predstavljen celoten postopek izdelave mapirane projekcije od izbire vsebin, do izdelave končne animirane projekcije na izbrane arhitekturne makete. Najprej projekcijsko mapiranje uporabimo na testnih primerih, kjer preučimo različne projekcijske kote in objekte različnih oblik in velikosti. Testiramo tudi barve, besedila in različne vzorce, z namenom, spoznati zmogljivosti in omejitve orodja VPT 8. Na koncu predstavimo končni rezultat našega dela na projekcijskem mapiranju na arhitekturnih modelih in podamo ključne ugotovitve.

Title:Projection mapping on architectural models
Abstract:
In the thesis we present the areas and examples of the use of projection mapping, as well as all the necessary hardware and software for creating our own mapped projections. We focused our work to projecting the content to 3D objects using VPT 8 projection mapping tool, to create projections on two architectural models. In this work we present the process of creating projection mapping, from content selection to the production of a final animated projection on selected architectural models. At the begining we use projection mapping technique on various test cases, where we examine different projection angles and different shapes and sizes of objects. We also test colors, text and various patterns to understand the capabilities and limitations of the VPT 8 projection mapping tool. Lastly, we present the final result of our work on projection mapping on architectural models and provide lessons learned.
