Abstract
V magistrski nalogi sem raziskala področje zaznane samoučinkovitosti pri vzgojiteljih, ki so zaposleni v vzgojnih zavodih in stanovanjskih skupinah vzgojnih zavodov v Sloveniji. Želela sem ugotoviti, na podlagi katerih informacij vzgojitelji zaznavajo svojo samoučinkovitost pri delu z mladostniki in drugimi vključenimi v proces prevzgoje, ter na kak način samoučinkovitost vpliva na delovno motivacijo, zadovoljstvo in zasebno življenje. Podatke sem zbrala s polstrukturiranim intervjujem, ki sem ga oblikovala posebej za to raziskavo in jih analizirala po utemeljeni teoriji. Ugotovila sem, da je temelj vzgojiteljevega dela odnos, ki ga vzpostavi na eni strani z mladostnikom, na drugi pa s sovzgojitelji, s katerimi mora ustvariti dobro delujoč tim. Na podlagi tega odnosa vzgojitelj presoja relevantnost povratnih informacij, ki so eden izmed ključnih podatkov za oceno samoučinkovitosti. Cilj vseh sodelujočih v prevzgoji mladostnika morata biti njegova dobrobit in napredek. Skupno sledenje temu cilju vzgojiteljem omogoča učinkovito delo, mladostnikom pa napredek. Priprava na delovne izzive vzgojiteljev zajema predvsem evalvacijo in komunikacijo ter razumevanje dela kot načina življenja in ne zgolj kot službe, saj je osebni vložek vsakega vzgojitelja izredno velik. Magistrsko delo omogoča vpogled na področje samoučinkovitosti pri vzgojiteljih in odpira možnosti za izboljšave na tem področju, da bi lahko mladostnikom, ki so vključeni v zavodsko vzgojo, omogočili okolje, v katerem bi lahko čim bolj napredovali in zaživeli uspešno samostojno življenje.

Title:
Self-Efficacy of Child Care Workers in Residential Care Institutions
Abstract:
This Master's thesis studies the field of perceived self-efficacy in child care workers employed in residential care institutions and group homes in Slovenia. The study focuses on discovering which information is the basis for the child care workers' perception of their self-efficacy in their work with youngsters and other participants involved in the process of re-education. Another point of interest is the way self-efficacy affects the working motivation, satisfaction and personal lives of child care workers. The data, which were collected using a semi-structured interview designed specifically for this research, were analyzed according to Grounded theory. The study shows that the foundation for the child care workers' work is the relationship they establish both with the youngsters and co-workers with whom they need to form a well-functioning team. Based on this relationship they assess the relevance of the received feedback which is one of the key pieces of information for the assessment of self-efficacy. The aim of all participants involved in the re-education of a youngster must be his or her well-being and progress. Following this common goal enables effective work for the child care workers and progress for the youngster in question. Child care workers' preparation for everyday working challenges includes the evaluation, communication and understanding their work as a way of life and not only as their job, since the personal investment of every child care worker is enormous. This thesis provides an insight into the field of self-efficacy in child care workers and it opens the possibilities for improvement in this area in order to provide the youngsters that are included in residential care education with an environment where they can make optimal progress and live a successful independent life.
