Abstract
V diplomski nalogi sem zgradil avtomatsko testno okolje, ki je namenjeno testiranju komunikacijskih terminalnih naprav na oddelku verifikacije v podjetju Iskratel. Naloga okolja je avtomatsko vzpostavljanje velikega števila zvez med dvema terminalnima napravama in odkrivanje morebitnih napak, ki se pojavijo po daljšem obratovanju terminala. Okolje je zgrajeno tako, da skuša čim bolj natančno simulirati uporabnika terminala. V ta namen se za avtomatsko klicanje uporablja robotska roka. Po njeni prvotni nastavitvi lahko ta neprestano ponavlja vzpostavljanje zvez med terminaloma. Ali je bila zveza uspešna, testno okolje preveri s preizkusom slišnosti, poleg tega pa meri tudi zakasnitev prenesenega zvoka. Okolje lahko z dodatno nastavitvijo parametrov meri tudi zaostajanje prenesene slike pri video zvezah in njeno odvisnost od zvoka. Končni rezultati nam tako omogočajo vpogled v dolgotrajno delovanje terminala ter zaznavo napak, ki jih je z ročnim testiranjem skoraj nemogoče odkriti.

Title:Automatization of a terminal testing equipment
Abstract:
In my diploma work I made an automatic measuring environment, which is designed for testing communication terminals in the verification stage of production. It is designed to establish multiple connections between two communication terminals to find possible errors, that might appear during long operation. Goal of the environment is to simulate a terminal user as best as possible. To establish the connection between two terminals a robotic arm is used. After its first initialization the robot can constantly place calls between terminals. Successful connection is then tested with audibility test. Besides that, environment also calculates delay of the transferred sound or image in case of video calls. Final results allow users to analyze long-term terminal operation and detect errors, which would be impossible to find with manual testing.
