Health is the most important factor in our lives. For this reason companies must guarantee
healthy and safe working environment for its employees. With applying fundamental
ergonomic principles in the office environment we can avoid risking employees' health and
safety. Office ergonomics and ergonomic equipment have a strong impact on job
satisfaction. Satisfied and healthy employees are the key to a successful company. The goal
of the research was to determine whether office ergonomics and ergonomic equipment
have an important impact on job satisfaction. For the research a descriptive method of
studying domestic and foreign literature was used. A survey technique was used as a
research instrument to collect data and determine the existing situation in the company. The
analysis of the survey showed that office ergonomics and ergonomic equipment affects job
satisfaction. Employees are very satisfied with their workplace, with their work status and
responsibilities they have. People are happy to be able to work in an environment where
mutual relations are good and equally satisfactory.
