Abstract

Title:Motivation for sports activity
Abstract:
Motivation plays an extremely important role in the life of each individual, as it encourages us to carry out the vital necessities for survival every day. Motivation varies greatly from individual to individual and it has a special role in those activities where it has to be repeatedly proved for its existence. One of these areas is primarily sport, because each victory brings only the present satisfaction, which must be repeatedly proved and supported, regardless of whether it is a competition against others, or just to prove to itself. In this context, the question of what women are doing to sports activities is repeated, as sport has long since exceeded the prehistoric desire for movement. The thesis in the theoretical part contains the definition of motivation as one of the key phenomena of pedagogical psychology, presents motivational factors and focuses on sports motivation. In the second part of the theoretical part, the importance of sport with an emphasis on sports psychology is presented. In the empirical part, motivational factors for sports activities in people of different age groups are analyzed and mutual differences are presented.
