Dileme staršev in strokovnih delavcev ob vstopu otrok v osnovno šolo pred dopolnjenim šestim letom starosti

Abstract
Praksa pri vpisu otrok v šolo je pokazala, da starši mnogokrat doživljajo stiske pred vpisom za še ne šestletnega otroka. Glavni namen naloge je predstaviti dileme staršev in strokovnih delavcev ob vstopu otrok v osnovno šolo pred dopolnjenim šestim letom starosti. Magistrsko delo temelji na analizi intervjujev in primerjav opisov, ki so bili podani v odgovorih staršev (vpisi, odlogi pred dopolnjenim šestim letom starosti) in strokovnih delavcev (učitelji, svetovalni delavci). V prvem delu naloge sem predstavila teorijo na področju razvoja otroka; kaj vse vpliva na njegovo čustvovanje ter doživljanje sveta. Predstavila sem zakonodajo, ki narekuje vpisne pogoje za vstop v prvi razred, pri čemer sem naš šolski sistem laično primerjala s šolstvom v tujini. Ker vloga družine in vloga odraslih nasploh, na eni strani staršev, na drugi pa ostalih strokovnjakov, pomembno vpliva na odločitev vpisa otroka v prvi razred, sem v enem izmed podpoglavij spregovorila tudi o tem; posebno pozornost sem namenila predvsem svetovalnim delavcem, saj imajo prav slednji med vsemi strokovnjaki največji vpliv. Eno izmed teoretičnih področij pa predstavlja varovalne dejavnike in dejavnike tveganja, ki neizogibno sovpadajo z zaključnim delom, zato sem se dotaknila še tega teoretskega področja.

Title:The dilemmas of parents and professionals when entering the children in elementary school before reaching the age of six
Abstract:
The practice with enrolment of children into school has shown that parents oftentimes experience distress when entering children that are not yet six years old. The main intention is to show the dilemmas of parents and professionals when entering children in elementary school before reaching the age of six. The master’s thesis is based on the analysis of interviews and comparison of descriptions which were given in the answers of parents (enrolments, postponements before reaching the age of six) and professionals (teachers, counsellors). In the first part of the thesis I presented the theory in the field of child development; what impacts his emotions and experiencing of the world. I presented the legislation which dictates enrolment conditions for entering the first grade, where I unprofessionally compared our school system with school systems abroad. Because the role of the family and the role of grownups, on one side parents on the other counsellors, substantially influences the decision to enrol the child in the first grade I focused on this in one of the subsections; I gave special attention to counsellors since the latter have the greatest influence among all of the experts. One of the theoretical fields shows safety factors and risk factors, which inevitably coincide with the final work, that’s why I touched upon this theoretical field.
